Back in February I was involved in a photo shoot with a team of amazing wedding suppliers brought together by Carmen Weddings to showcase the 'lacey' highlights of Nottingham! Nottingham is historically known as the centre of the world lace industry and the Lace Market itself is an area full of stunning architecture and tradition. Sadly, very little lace is produced here now and it has been regenerated offering lots of trendy apartments and offices.
However, we were so excited to work with dress designer Kula Tsurdiu who continues to produce hand made bespoke dresses from her studio in the heart of the lace market using locally sourced lace, keeping the tradition alive! Images were captured by Emma White and Lee Garland who did a fantastic job! We were all thrilled to be featured on Love My Dress Blog You can see their post here...
I tried to incorporate lace into all my style elements which included a bespoke lace and silk bouquet with brooch detail and a table of lace air balloons!! Let me know what you think! Here are some of my favourite images from the day...
Hope you've enjoyed our celebration of all things lace!
